   General Steps for Frames :
  • Frames and forks will be stripped of original paint and decals either by bead blasting, chemical stripping or hand sanding, depending on material. All chrome will be protected.
  • Your frame is inspected for cracks and defects that may be covered by paint. Minor defects will be filled with automotive body filler and hand sanded prior to priming.
  • Next two coats of a epoxy primer are applied.
  • Then 2-3 coats of a base color are applied.
  • At least (2) coats of clear are applied, followed by hand sanding if decals are requested.
  • Decals are applied by hand. At least (2) coats of clear are re-applied over decals to protect finish.
  • The finished frame is baked to ensure proper curing of all coats into a highly durable glossy finish that will last for years!
